Project Pick Six

Project Pick Six was launched in 2023 in Johannesburg, South Africa, with the mission of addressing poverty, crime, and drug-related issues that significantly impact the lives of young people. The project aims to provide support to these adolescents and offer them a brighter future. Project Pick Six is a social sports initiative with a primary focus on the sport of American Flag Football. The core objective of Project Pick Six is to establish a lasting support system for young individuals that extends beyond the realm of sports, encompassing holistic development across various aspects of their lives.

We are committed to assisting these adolescents in overcoming challenges and obstacles they face, particularly in their educational pursuits. Project Pick Six places a strong emphasis on the importance of education, recognizing it as the key to a successful life and a critical factor in providing young people with a promising future while safeguarding them from unemployment, poverty, etc.

Initially, Project Pick Six launched with one team based in Eldorado Park, prioritizing quality over quantity. Currently, we have 3 American Flag Football teams, which now include a girls' team.
