● They built a culture of dignity, joy, and belonging.

● Annual lunches became a cherished tradition, even after the passing of Aunty Viv

● The mission continued…

Bringing Hope, sharing love through Random Acts of Kindness Project Manager: Cheryl Pillay

As an NPO operating in the community of Eldorado Park and the surrounding area, with many social ills. Since its inception in 2007 - Come Back Mission has always looked at projects to address the needs in our community.


● Holistic Interventions when there is a need, we respond by donating and lobbying for support.

● Participate in Community Events, partner with other stakeholders to address the needs.

● Partnership with Upper room - Distributing Daily Devotion Books as well as an annual devotion writing workshop.

Knit AThon

Baby Beanie and Blanket Knitathon 10 years.

Yearly over 1000 knitted products distributed.

Annual Christmas Party

Come Back Mission hosts an Annual Christmas party for the Methodist Church Feeding Project.

● 400 Children Served.


This project is in honour of one of the founding members of CBM - Aunty Vivie.

CBM also distributed 100 Christmas Food Hampers sponsored by various donors

Easter Egg Drive

1000 Easter Eggs are distributed annually

Community PopUp

Eldorado Park has many households that are fully dependent on the SASSA grant as the only means of income to maintain the family's basic needs. With a very high unemployment rate as well as 60 percent of single-parent (mother) households.

Shopping for clothing , toys and household items would rarely happen because of poverty and many families are not even able make ends meet.

PURPOSE

The community pop up store is a project that allows our identified families a shopping experience to shop for household items ,clothing, toys and books at no cost with dignity. To provide a food parcel as well as cleaning material per household.

A cooked meal will be served after shopping experience.

100 families - (500 persons)

Stationary Drive

Every year we run a stationery drive which consists of Stationery, school bags and school shoes.
The aim is to Leave No One Behind, ensuring that the most vulnerable are able to go to school with the basic school needs that have been met.
